Our story
Named for the mud that feeds the marsh, and the light that brings us home.
Pluff mud is the dark, rich marsh soil that gives the Lowcountry its smell, its oysters, and a lot of its character. The lanterns are for the long tables, late dinners, and porch-light hospitality this city is known for.
Our kitchen cooks with the tides and the seasons: shellfish from nearby waters, heirloom grains, and produce from Sea Island farms, prepared simply and served generously.
